Okay, It was a very slight exageration, he actually has given me three tickets, two in the same place, which is just a mile from my house. There is a road which goes under the Beltway (yes that one where Beltway bandits reside) from my neighborhood up to Connecticut ave, a major throughfare to DC. After you go under the Beltway, the speed limit drops to 25 MPH because a bunch of whiners live along that road, which used to have a ramp to the Beltway that was removed several years ago. It is still 25 mph there, even though other roads of a similar nature are 30 mph. So the first time I got a ticket I was going 38 in the 25, and then the last time, about a month ago, I was driving my husband's fancy car, a red sports car, doing him a favor getting gas and getting it washed. It was spring break, so traffic was very light, and I wasn't watching the speedometer, and he got me again doin 40 in 25. He did not stop the car which right beside me, doing the same speed, i was in the right lane. So it was dumb, but it is a total speed trap situation. It was also the end of the month, Off WHite needed some more citations. And I have tried to chat him up. I probably should have offered to clean his Harley for a month, maybe that would have gotten me off!
